Yes — every tour starts with a safety briefing, you ride behind a professional guide, and the buggies have roll cages, harnesses and helmets as standard. The COBRA quad runs in a fenced area, which is perfect for nervous first-timers, while open-desert rides suit anyone comfortable after the briefing. The guide rides ahead or alongside you the whole time.
Is the dune buggy price per person or per buggy?
The dune buggy price is per buggy, not per person. A 2 Seater Polaris RZR 1000cc costs AED 600 for 30 minutes, so two riders pay AED 300 each. The 4 Seater Polaris RZR 1000 CC is AED 800, which is AED 200 a head with all four seats filled. The 2 Seater Can-Am Maverick X3 is AED 999 for the whole buggy. The guide, helmet, goggles, fuel and unlimited mineral water are already included, so there are no gear fees to add.
Which suits me better, a 2 seater or a 4 seater dune buggy?
Choose the 2 seater for a couple, two friends or a parent with an older child. Choose the 4 seater when the family wants one vehicle, with one adult driving and up to three passengers. Both use the same 1000cc Polaris RZR engine and the same guided format. The 4-seater costs more in total but less per rider once all four seats are full. If you are unsure, tell us who is coming and we will suggest the better fit.
What is the difference between the Polaris RZR and the Can-Am Maverick X3?
The Polaris RZR is the forgiving all-rounder and comes as a 2-seater (AED 600) or a 4-seater (AED 800). The Can-Am Maverick X3 (AED 999, 2 seats) sits wider and lower, with stiffer suspension and quicker acceleration. First-timers usually start in the RZR. Riders who have driven off-road before, or who want the sportiest ride, pick the X3. Both include a guide, helmets and goggles and unlimited mineral water.
How do I get to the meeting point, and is hotel pickup included?
Most guests drive or take a taxi to the meeting point in the Al Badayer desert. The exact pin comes with your written confirmation. Hotel pickup is not part of the buggy price. We can arrange a transfer from hotels in Downtown, Business Bay, Dubai Marina, JBR and Deira for an extra charge, so ask on WhatsApp when you book.

What clothes and shoes suit a dune buggy ride in Dubai?
Wear closed-toe shoes, because sandals can slip off the pedals. Choose light clothing you do not mind getting sandy, add high-SPF sunscreen and sunglasses for daytime rides, and bring a light jacket on winter evenings. The desert sun is strong even in winter, so sunscreen matters on every ride. We provide a helmet and goggles for every rider.

Free rescheduling is available with reasonable notice, whenever we have space on your new date. Cancellation fees depend on how far ahead you cancel and on your group size, and requests are handled by email, as set out on our cancellation policy page. If we cancel a ride because of weather or another unforeseen reason, you can choose a new date at no extra cost, or ask for a refund under that policy.
Can a group of more than four people ride together?
Yes. If your group is larger than four, we book a second buggy alongside the first, such as a 2 Seater Polaris RZR or the Can-Am Maverick X3. Everyone then rides at the same time, and the guide leads the convoy. Tell us the number of riders and their ages when you book, and we will line up the right buggies.
