A hot air balloon ride in Dubai starts at AED 1049 per person with the Standard Package, which covers free pickup from your accommodation, a 45-60 minute sunrise flight over the desert (weather dependent), unlimited drinks and coffee before you board, and a printed flight certificate once you land. It's built for travelers who want the flight itself, without a camp stop or ground activities afterwards.

Pickup runs between 3:45 and 4:30 AM from anywhere in Dubai, and you're back at your hotel by 9:00 AM at the latest — early enough that the rest of your day is still wide open. If you'd rather extend the morning into breakfast, a camel ride and falconry, or a full desert safari with quad biking, the Deluxe and Premium packages below are built on top of this same flight.

What is included in the AED 1049 Hot Air Balloon Standard Package?

The Standard Package covers free pickup from your Dubai accommodation, a 45-60 minute hot air balloon flight over the desert, unlimited drinks, coffee and water before you board, a printed flight certificate and drop-off afterwards. It does not include camp breakfast or ground activities afterwards — those are added on the Deluxe and Premium packages.

Why does the Standard package cost less than Deluxe or Premium?

Standard is priced for the flight experience alone — pickup, the balloon ride itself and a certificate — with no camp breakfast, camel ride or desert safari added afterwards. If you'd rather extend the morning with food and activities once you land, Deluxe at AED 1149 or Premium at AED 1399 build on this same flight.

Do I get proof that I actually flew, like a certificate or photos?

Yes, every Standard package guest receives a printed flight certificate once the balloon lands, confirming your flight with Dune Buggy Rentals Dubai. It's a nice keepsake and works well if you're flying for a birthday, anniversary or bucket-list trip.

What time will I be picked up and dropped off for the Standard flight?

Pickup runs between 3:45 and 4:30 AM from your Dubai hotel, home or apartment, timed so you reach the launch site while the sky is still dark before sunrise. Since Standard has no camp stop afterwards, you're dropped back at your accommodation between 8:00 and 9:00 AM, freeing up the rest of your morning.

Is pickup really free, and does it cover any hotel in Dubai?

Yes, pickup is included at no extra cost for accommodation anywhere in Dubai. Give us your hotel, home or apartment address when you book and we'll confirm your exact pickup time by WhatsApp the day before.

What happens if the flight is cancelled because of weather?

Hot air balloons only fly in calm, clear conditions, so if wind or visibility rules out a safe flight on your date we'll offer you an alternative date or a full refund. Flights also pause completely every summer from June to August and resume from 1 September, so it's worth booking outside that window.
